Five Questions for New Year’s Reflection

31 Dec

Okay – there are more than five.  These are great journalling questions if you journal (or want to start). Or, create a new New Year’s Day ritual and explore them in conversation with a trusted friend.

  1. Looking back at 2009, when were you at your best?  What enabled you to be at your best?
  2. What changed within you in 2009?  What was the impact of these changes?
  3. As you end this year, what’s weighing you down?  How can you let go of it?  Or, how can you shift your experience/perception of it?
  4. Imagine that it is December 31, 2010, and you’ve had a successful and fulfilling year.  What does that look like?  (Describe it.) What did you do to facilitate this result?
  5. In 2010, what the are the critical areas for your attention, learning and growth?

Wishing you peace and joy in 2010!
